The Clinique des Champs-Elysées
The Clinique des Champs-Elysées is the largest cosmetic establishment in Europe. We have been welcoming a French and international patient base for about 60 years.
Consultations with knowledgeable and experienced practitioners
Our practitioners inform patients about the existing medical and surgical solutions to meet their needs. The care is comprehensive and there may be a combination of several methods in order to achieve the result which is the most consistent with the wishes expressed.
The Clinic offers an appointment with three surgeons to avoid any hasty decisions being made in the surgery. The patient can thus choose the option that best meets their expectations and the professional with whom they feel the most comfortable.
For patients abroad, we offer consultations via Skype.
You can make an appointment:
- By phone on +33 (0)1 53 77 25 88.
- By email: our teams respond to messages within 24 hours.
- Through the internet 24/7 with an automatic recall system.
From the initial consultation to the final result, each patient is supported by a cosmetic consultant who has been specially trained to listen, explain and reassure.
State-of-the-art technical facilities
The Clinique des Champs-Elysées consists of 2,500m² spread over five floors.
The "surgery" unit
It consists of an operating room with six cosmetic surgery rooms and a recovery room.
The "medicine" unit
It consists of ten medical & laser treatment rooms and two rest rooms.
The "hair" unit
It consists of three hair operating rooms, three rest rooms and two treatment rooms.
The "dental" unit
It consists of seven dental operating rooms, three medical imaging rooms and a dental prosthesis laboratory.
The clinic also has a pharmacy for internal use which dispenses medications and medical devices to the departments on a daily basis.
Luxurious rooms for comfortable surgery
The Clinic consists of fourteen luxurious hospitalisation rooms and a wide range of services - massages, physiotherapists, hairdressers, manicures, snacks, etc.
Patients who have undergo surgical procedures as outpatients have sixteen rest rooms and two postoperative treatment rooms available for them to use.
When they return home after the procedure, patients benefit from postoperative monitoring with daily or weekly phone calls.
In addition, a dedicated cell responds to requests and the problems that may be encountered after a procedure 24/7. This relationship of dialogue and trust provides much appreciated support, thanks to which you won't feel alone and helpless when you leave the Clinic.
The surgeon monitors the patient for a year until the final result.
Most medical treatments require multiple sessions and monitoring by the doctor is regular. For procedures that are done all at once, the patient can contact the doctor directly if they have any questions or come for a check-up visit in case of problems.
The Clinic routinely carries out highly customised satisfaction surveys, covering both the care provided and general comfort. This real-time feedback from patients allows for an almost immediate response and continuous improvement of the different services.
The Clinique des Champs-Elysées has 90 leading practitioners:
- Some fifty cosmetic surgeons, who alone represent 25 to 30% of all fellow Parisian surgeons, three anaesthesiologists and ten surgeons specialising in hair implants.
- Six cosmetic doctors who have been trained in overall patient care and to master both conventional techniques (injections, peeling, etc.) as well as the latest generation devices (Fraxel, Thermage, Venus Viva, Venus Concept, miraDry, Coolsculpting, etc.)
- A pool of other practitioners composed of five dermatologist surgeons, an ENT surgeon, a gastroenterologist, eight cardiologists and five dental surgeons.
Quality standards in cosmetic surgery
The cosmetic surgery business is a highly regulated sector and must pass "periodic examinations" that contribute to achieving full transparency and giving the facility recognised reliability, while offering patients vital safety and trust to be able to approach procedures with confidence.
Authorisation from the Regional Health Agency (ARS)
In 2007 the Clinique des Champs-Elysées obtained an authorisation to practice cosmetic surgery issued by the Departmental Directorate for Health and Social Affairs (DDASS), which later became the Regional Health Agency (ARS). This validation was renewed in October 2011.
This authorisation is valid for a period of five years and must be renewed before the end of this period.
At any time, in unannounced inspections, the Director General of the ARS may verify that an activity is being carried out in a facility in accordance with the regulatory provisions for the safety and quality of care. The Clinic was the subject of such an inspection in July 2015.
Certification from the High Authority of Health (HAS)
The Clinique des Champs Elysées has been unreservedly certified by the High Authority of Health (HAS) since 2012. It is a "passport" which is not issued lightly: experts, delegated by the HAS, stay in the facility for several days in order to scrutinize the management - human resources, quality and risk prevention - as well as the care for patients from their welcome to leaving, through to the qualifications of the practitioners and the safety of treatments and procedures.
In 2015 the Clinic obtained the renewal of this rigorous certification, whose requirements go up a notch at each assessment.
